Being an Interior Design student is no easy feat. This is a project from last semester, my junior year. I had to design a spa with a built on residence. I was given the shell of the building and was told to design the interior to meet a very specific list of codes and requirements. The entire building was designed to meet ADA accessible standards. All aspects of the building are designed to code, and meet all fire and life safety requirements. The material selections are spec’d out in the end of the construction document set. I chose to design a more rustic residence since this building is located near the Great Smokey

Mountains. I took a more modern approach
to the spa since it is more of a commercial space. This project challenged me and helped me to grow.
I hope you enjoy looking
through my project, and
as I continue to learn and grow in school I will share more of my projects. Feel free to email me with any questions!
