Furniture Fix

I decided that my bedroom furniture was pretty outdated, and I have been itching to update it for months. So, since I was on Spring Break this week I tackled this project. First I moved the furniture out into the garage and lightly sanded the white paint. Once that was cleaned up, I used a black matte finish paint. I had to cover the white with 3 coats of black paint. Then, a clear polyurethane finish was added on top in order to give the furniture more durability so the paint wouldn't chip as easily. The art deco brass knobs that were on the set before were replaced with black cup knobs from Home Depot. This was to complete the more updated look I was going for. I hope you enjoyed my DIY furniture fix, let me know what you think by clicking on the email me button!
